  • I love the buildings. The way the first floor explodes out onto the sidewalk in a jumble of shops, bars and restaurants, and then from the second floor above, they reach up to the sky through amazing brickwork, unique details and the history of achievement and ambition. Look up, down or around the corner, there’s no sight quite like Downcity.

    • Andrew, thanks for that. The buildings are what initially drew me Downcity ten years ago. Taking walks through the then empty streets, looking up all the while, at the beauty in the architecture. It hit me then, the potential that is so evident now. For renewal, revitalization and a real neighborhood.

  • I love the sounds, smells and life of the downtown. We moved to Federal Hill so that we could be within walking distance of Downtown and the Hill. The diversity of the people, stores and building is a complete rush. You know you are alive and not just living when you are Downtown. The city is warm, inviting and seductive. My husband and I look foward to all the city offers.

    • Concetta,

So happy to have you here! Federal Hill is such a gem to have so close, and adds to the life Downtown. Best to you and your husband!

  • I have the pleasure of walking through the heart of Downcity every day on my way into the office. I cannot think of a better way to start my day; and with the vibrant nightlife, I cannot think of a better way to end it either.

    • Hey Andy,

Thanks! The walkability of Downcity is something we focus on every day. Last night, with Sound Session happening, it was nice to see so many people wandering from event to event in the evening. Enjoy!
